Temporary Growing Space

Our new garden project the Victoria & 49th Temporary Community Garden is located at the corner of Victoria & 49th Ave East in Vancouver BC.

Eventually, the lot will be transformed into a new use. In the meantime, we are excited to partner with the landowners to create a growing space where the community can come together and enjoy flowers, herbs, fruits, veggies and all other plants alike.

As a reminder, we have a land-use agreement with the landowner to make use of the site on an interim, temporary timeline. We can’t guarantee the future of the garden beyond any date, but we can guarantee that we’ll do everything possible to keep the garden growing.

We take things growing season-by growing season. The projects are temporary and the gardens will be removed/relocated.
